It’s time for a reader’s choice! I’ve shared a couple of fudge recipes with you, but they all contain nuts or nut butters. So, this one is for all of you who can’t or want to eat nuts, but want to make delicious and creamy homemade fudge with just a handful of wholesome ingredients.

Ingredients (makes 20-25 pieces):
1 1/4 dl white tahini
1- 1 1/4 dl agave syrup, maple syrup or honey
1 dl coconut oil OR 3/4 dl coconut oil & 3 tbsp canned coconut cream
1/4-1/2 tsp salt (you can also sprinkle the fudge with some coarse sea salt/ salt flakes prior freezing!)
1 tsp vanilla extract

1 1/2 – 2 tbsp cacao powder for chocolate version
1/2 dl chocolate flakes for really chocolaty version
1/2 dl dried fruits chopped in tiny cubes for fruity version
1 1/2 – 2 tbsp some berry powder for berry version
1/2 dl shredded coconut for coconutty version
1-2 tsp cinnamon or gingerbread spice for a Christmassy version

• Combine all of the ingredients in a small bowl and mix with a large spoon until a smooth batter forms. If your tahini is a little tough to mix, heat a little bit. If you want to add some “extra flavour”, do it now and mix well.
• Pour into a silicone loaf pan and pop into the freezer to set over night or until firm. It takes at least 3-4 hours.
• Flip fudge slab out of the pan onto a cutting board and cut into bite sized squares with a sharp knife.
• Enjoy immediately or put in a sealed container.

Store in a fridge for a softer chew or in the freezer for a chewier chew. I always have mine in freezer and let them thaw for a couple of minutes prior eating 😛 .
