Christmas break in Thailand part 2: The Gallery Hotel Nai Harn

Even though we loved villa and private pool life, we do have one little hotel breakfast lover in our family. And now I’m not talking about myself! Once we booked this trip Luca started talking about the hotel breakfast, so we had to stay also in a hotel.

My husband chose us quite new hotel called The Gallery Hotel Nai Harn, which was also located very close to Nai Harn Beach and basically right next to Nai Harn Lake. If I understood correctly, each room at this 4-star hotel had pool views and at least our room was really nice, spacious enough for three and well-equipped. The hotel featured huge outside pools, fitness center, playroom for little ones and a 24-hour front desk with really friendly and helpful staff. If I have to come up with something negative about hotel, there were only few sunbeds in the pool area compared to the number of hotel rooms. But taking into account that the hotel is brand new and the high-season is just about to start, I’m sure that they will add some more because space is not a problem.

There were several cafe-restaurants near the hotel, which we often used for lunch. We ate breakfast at the hotel, which consisted of a buffet (mainly Thai food and fruits). In addition, everyone got to choose one meal from the menu (American breakfast with frankfurters, eggs and bacon, vegetarian option with omelettes, stuffed croissant, or ham-cheese tart) freshly made in the kitchen. We didn’t try the dinner at hotel restaurant, as we always ate at one of the beach restaurants in the evening.

So, definitely a recommended hotel if you are looking for a well-equipped hotel within walking distance from the beach, cafes, restaurants and various beauty and massage salons.
